A wonderful choice for the common folk. The 'Cypress' is made with either nubuck suede , or bull hide leather. They have leather laces that tie on the side in true period fashion. I do part from years gone by in comfort-- using a padded, leather lined insole, leather midsole, slight heel wedge that creates a slight arch support, and they have Vibram woodstock soles that are long wearing and cushiony-- excellent for those rough faire grounds.
